The Independence Center is a nonprofit in St. Louis that provides wrap around services to adults living with mental illness. We were looking for a more robust peer-to-peer platform to integrate directly with our donor database, Bloomerang. We found Qgiv and have been using it for about 3 years now. I love this platform. It has all the features we were looking for with decent pricing.
We primarily use the Qgiv platform for our annual signature fundraiser and peer-to-peer event, Dancing with the St. Louis Stars. The 2022 event grossed $736,000 and most of the gifts we collected were through Qgiv. The peer-to-peer platform is easy to use. Fundraising teams and participants were able to quickly set up their own fundraising pages, set goals, and track donations right on their page. They are also very easy to update and customize. This feature has saved our team a lot of time and is something our previous fundraising platform didn’t offer. Our staff no longer need to invest time in running reports to provide donor information for participants.
I personally love the offline donation feature. It makes it easy for us to track everything within one system and have an accurate picture of the funds raised. We receive several checks or ACH donations during our fundraising season and can import those directly into the system through the offline donation feature. It has been a wonderful addition to our fundraising efforts.
I also want to add that we have consistently received wonderful customer service. Not only are my calls answered almost immediately, but the customer service representatives are so knowledgeable. They help me navigate the system and find solutions over the phone with ease. They are kind and are happy to help with very simple and more complex questions. There’s also a robust knowledge base available with articles and support documentation, too.
